Banda Aceh, April 08, 2025 — In a warm post-Eid al-Fitr 1446 H atmosphere, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Syiah Kuala University (FKH USK) held a Halal Bihalal gathering on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The event, held at the Lobby of Building D, served as a moment of togetherness for the entire academic community, including lecturers, administrative staff, students, and alumni.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Drh. Teuku Reza Ferasyi, M.Sc., Ph.D., who emphasized the importance of strengthening interpersonal relationships as part of a spirit of unity and professionalism. “We use this opportunity to forgive one another and to strengthen our ties, for the progress of the faculty and harmony within our work environment,” he said.

This year’s Halal Bihalal was made even more special by the presence of the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marwan, IPU, along with his staff. In his remarks, the Rector expressed his appreciation for the event, seeing it as a reflection of the positive culture consistently upheld by FKH. “Togetherness like this is essential in building solidarity within the campus environment and in fostering a spirit of cross-unit collaboration,” said Prof. Marwan.

Following the speeches, the gathering continued with a lontong meal, a traditional dish typically served during Eid celebrations in Aceh. The warm, familial atmosphere was evident as participants greeted one another, shook hands, and enjoyed the meal together.

With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Halal Bihalal event is expected to inspire continued harmony and strengthen cooperation within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Syiah Kuala University.
