The Pharmacology Laboratory at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Syiah Kuala University (USK), has a VISION to become an excellent and professional laboratory in conducting and supporting educational and research activities in the fields of pharmacology, pharmacy, herbal medicine, and veterinary toxicology.

The MISSION of the Pharmacology Laboratory is to improve the quality of laboratory services in the fields of veterinary pharmacology and pharmacy through the enhancement of human resource competencies and the quality of laboratory facilities and infrastructure.

The Pharmacology Laboratory at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, plays a strategic role in supporting the development of knowledge in the fields of pharmacology and pharmacy. Courses offered for the undergraduate program include Pharmacology I, Pharmacology II, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Toxicology. For the Diploma III (D-III) program, the courses include Pharmacology and Toxicology.

The Pharmacology Laboratory provides research services such as extract preparation, solvent evaporation using a rotary evaporator, acute toxicity testing using the BSLT method, and the use of laboratory animals for research purposes.
