On July 30, 2024, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) at Syiah Kuala University (USK) obtained international ASIIN accreditation with a Full status for 5 years for the Study Program of Veterinary Medicine and the Study Program of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. This achievement demonstrates FKH USK’s commitment to providing high-quality education in veterinary medicine that meets international standards.
This accomplishment was achieved alongside two other faculties at USK, namely the Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Medicine. The ASIIN accreditation underscores the quality and global competitiveness of the programs in these three faculties and supports USK’s efforts to continue advancing in higher education.
ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur im Bereich Ingenieurwissenschaften, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik) is an international certification granted to programs in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, and mathematics to ensure that the curriculum and educational processes meet international quality standards. The accreditation evaluates various aspects, including teaching quality, infrastructure, and curriculum relevance to global industry needs. With ASIIN accreditation, educational institutions demonstrate their commitment to high-quality education and the readiness of their graduates to compete in the global market.
