Banda Aceh, November 26th 2024 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universitas Syiah Kuala (FVM USK), successfully held a workshop titled “Ethics, Research, and Scientific Writing: A Triad for Scopus Success” on 26 November 2024 at the FVM USK Auditorium. The event was opened by the Dean of FVM USK and featured Dr. Muhammad Iqhrammullah, M.Si, as the keynote speaker.
In his opening remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of upholding research ethics, ensuring methodological rigor, and producing high-quality scientific writing to meet the standards of reputable journals like Scopus. “This workshop is a crucial step in our faculty’s commitment to fostering a research culture that aligns with international standards,” he stated.
Dr. Iqhrammullah, an experienced researcher with numerous publications in Scopus-indexed journals, delivered an insightful session. He highlighted the ethical considerations in research, from proposal development to publication, and shared practical strategies for improving the clarity, coherence, and impact of scientific manuscripts.
“Ethics, research, and writing are interconnected elements,” Dr. Iqhrammullah explained. “Mastering this triad is essential not only for academic success but also for contributing meaningful advancements to the global scientific community.”
The workshop was attended by lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students from various disciplines, all eager to enhance their research and publishing skills.
